ScreenToGif: Free Screen Recorder with Frame-Level Editing for Windows
Created|Practical Repos
Introduction
ScreenToGif lets you record a selected area of your screen, then directly edit the recording frame by frame in its built-in editor — trimming, cropping, adding text — and export as GIF or video.
It’s not just a “record and export” tool; the editor is where it truly shines. You can delete individual frames, adjust playback speed, add borders or watermarks. For scenarios where you only need to record a few dozen seconds of a workflow, there’s no need to open any other software. Export formats include GIF, MP4, WebP, APNG, and more.
Note: Windows only.
